The No. 3 Bloggers

There are two of us: Melinda and Lindy.  We love food and wine, and all work at the historic Firehouse Restaurant in Old Sacramento.  Below is a little more information about us, individually.  We are excited to be here in the blogosphere and hope you will enjoy what we have to share!

Melinda Cassity
I’ve been providing marketing, advertising and other support to The Firehouse since 1999 when it was purchased by Harvego Real Estate, LLC.  It’s been a wonderful experience.  I’ve learned the restaurant business is a labor of love.  There is a lot of hard work and effort that goes into being the Best of the Best and having the Best Wine List in the region, but the rewards are worth it.

Lindy Gervin
The wine and restaurant business is admittedly new to me, but it sure has been an adventure so far! My background is in copy-writing, editing, social media and marketing which I feel will come in handy for my position as Marketing Assistant. I am blessed to be part of such an acclaimed and reputable company.
